Witty Netizen Introduces Ampalaya Jam to Counter Josh Mojica’s Kangkong Chips
A witty netizen goes viral as he shares his plan to create an ‘Ampalaya’ jam to counter Josh Mojica’s famous Kangkong chips.
A Facebook user named “Hoy Ceejay” posted a photo of a green jam, humorously calling it “ampalaya jam.” The post immediately spread like wildfire on social media and elicited reactions online.
Ceejay cheekily said, “Taob kangkong chips mo josh,, ito ampalaya jam,” referring to the well-known kangkong chips created by young CEO Josh Mojica, which gained popularity for his innovative chips that led to his success at a young age.
The uploader named Ceejay Mapare from Binalbagan, Negros Occidental explained that ampalaya jam is just a playful creation, admitting that he hasn’t actually tried making it but thought about experimenting with the idea and turning it into a business.
“Actually this ampalaya jam not yet exist in the market and I haven’t tried it to make ampalaya jam, it’s just came from my imagination na what if magagawa yung ganitong idea and ano kaya yung lasa,” he confessed.
“I was surprised by the Kangkong Chips of Josh Mojica that he came up in that idea into a successful business. And for this ampalaya jam of mine this was made for fun and to trigger people curiosity. That picture is not an ampalaya jam, I just saw it on internet,” he claimed.

Mapare clarified that the viral photo was not ampalaya jam but jackfruit jam/shake.
“If i came up to this business I don’t think so kung masarap ang ampalaya jam especially mag-aagaw yung tamis at pait. It sounds gross to some people especially hindi lahat kumakain ng ampalaya,” he explained.
If he decides to turn it into a business, he plans to sell each jar for P100.
