Miles Ocampo was asked about her breakup with Elijah Canlas
Actress-host Miles Ocampo has this reaction to the breakup confirmation that her ex-boyfriend actor Elijah Canlas had in an interview last November.
Elijah and Miles worked together in the series Paano ang Pangako? in 2020. Two years after that, they confirmed their relationship and they received support from their fans and friends in the entertainment industry.
They went through tough times this year. Elijah lost his brother and Miles was there to support him. The actress also received support from the actor when she underwent thyroidectomy surgery.
Following the breakup confirmation that Elijah Canlas had, rumors surfaced linking him to his Senior High co-star Andrea Brillantes. Ogie Diaz shared that rumor has it that Elijah and Andrea are “nagkakamabutihan.”
In a recent interview, based on the article by entertainment writer Salve Asis in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Miles Ocampo avoided speaking about her breakup with Elijah Canlas. She just related the story of her movie Family of Two to what her mother would always do.
“Alam mo ‘yung mga parents, kahit hindi ka mag-sabi sa kanila, kahit hindi ka mag-salita, at kahit hindi ka mag-sharae, nararamdaman nila kung ano ang nararamdaman mo,” she said.
Miles also said that she is thankful for her parents. Even though they had no conversation, her parents would feel her mood and they would ask her how she was.
The actress also revealed that she did not expect that Elijah would easily reveal what happened to their relationship.
“Grabe nga raw ang pinagdaanan ni Miles sa hiwalayan nila ni Elijah dahil hindi diumano nito inexpect na ikukumpisal agad ni Elijah ang nangyari sa kanila nang magpa-interview ito,” the entertainment writer shared.
Asis added that someone was being linked to Elijah, however, she forgot the woman’s name. “Hindi pa ito sikat,” the write said.
