Who is the Bar Exam 2023 Top 1?
Bar Exam 2023 – Ephraim Bie from Santo Tomas University was hailed as Top 1 in this year’s bar examinations.
On December 5, 2023, the Supreme Court released the list of bar takers who can now be officially called lawyers. The examinations took place in September this year. After two months of waiting, the results are out.
Based on the exam results, this year’s bar exam was topped by Bie, Ephraim Porciuncula. He is from the oldest university in Asia, the UST.

It was also stated that he does not believe in a “nose for news” or the ability of a journalist to identify and develop newsworthy stories. He was writing for the publication of the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Arts and Letters.
Bie was also active in the AB Debate Parliament, and he would answer random questions for the AB Pautakan Team during his spare time.
In his LinkedIn profile, it was said that the Bar Exam 2023 Top 1 is a writer in S&P Global Market Intelligence and a journalist in Charlton Media Group. Ephraim Bie got an 89.2625 percent rating in the bar exams.
The second place in the list of Bar Exam Results 2023 Topnotchers was occupied by Vivit, Mark Josel Padua with 89.1250 percent. He is from Ateneo de Manila University.
Before the exam result was released, Senior Associate Justice Marvic Leonen, who is also a former Bar chairperson, shared his message to all aspiring lawyers and reminded them to remain humble and patient.
