Ogie Diaz urged Xian Lim to speak about the current status of his relationship with Kim Chiu
Rumor has it that Kapuso actor Xian Lim and Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu broke up and talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz urged the actor to clarify the issue.
These past weeks, the online community and the entertainment industry have been talking about the rumored celebrity breakups. Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, collectively known as the KathNiel tandem, confirmed their breakup just recently. It has been rumored for quite a while that they are no longer together.
Aside from KathNiel, it was also rumored that the KimXi tandem, Kim and Xian’s loveteam name, broke up as well.
Amid the issue, Xian Lim posted a lengthy post as his statement and slammed people for speculating and believing hearsays. However, in his post, he did not directly confirm nor deny the breakup rumors.
In an interview, Kim Chiu was asked about the rumored breakup and she just asked the public to let them keep this to the public eyes. She did not confirm nor deny as well.
Following the breakup rumors, Kim was linked to her Linlang and What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim? leading man Paulo Avelino. Allegedly, there onscreen partnership became true roles in real life as rumors about their romance circulated.
Xian was also linked to film producer Iris Lee. Their photos together surfaced online and allegations circulated that they are just more than colleagues.
In a recent episode of Ogie Diaz’s Showbiz Update vlog, he talked about the rumored KimXi breakup. The talent manager-vlogger urged the actor to speak and clarify the issues, especially the rumors linking him to Iris.
“Si Iris Lee daw ay non-showbiz ito na, parang staff ng Viva or writer ng Viva na nali-link kay Xian Lim. Linawin nalang ni Xian Lim yan, ‘wag ng mahaba ang statement,” Ogie said.
