Pinoy Actor Christian Bables Goes Viral After Sharing His Heartwarming Encounter w/ Street Kid
Pinoy actor Christian Bables shared a delightful encounter he had with a street child that left him with a heartwarming story to tell.
Recently, Bables shared the experience on his way home one night when he suddenly craved donuts. Left with only Munchkins, he considered himself lucky because he got his favorite flavor.
While waiting for his order, a child in the picture knocked on his window. Christian prepared some coins to give to the child, but to his surprise, when he opened the window, instead of asking for money, the child said, “Trick or treats, po.”
The kid’s greetings brought an instant smile to his face. Wondering why the child was still saying that, he learned that the child didn’t have a Christmas costume, so he continued with “trick or treats” using a branch on his head as a Halloween costume.
When the Munchkins arrived, Christian gave all his orders and a bit of money to the child. However, the child refused the money and returned one bag of Munchkins. He said that the donuts were enough and that he would clean cars to earn money.
The young boy insisted that Christian keep one bag of Munchkins because he needed to eat so he wouldn’t die. The actor burst into laughter, realizing the child’s concept of survival – finding food each day and working with dignity to earn money.
