The Office of the Vice President (OVP) provides a Burial Assistance for the families of indigent Filipinos who passed away.

A death of a loved one can be both emotionally and financially draining. To help poor families who are caught in this hurtful situation, the Office of the Vice President led by Vice Pres. Sara Duterte-Carpio launched the OVP Burial Assistance. It is open for the family members of the deceased individuals belonging to the indigents and marginalized sector.

Under the OVP Burial Assistance, the family of the deceased individual may receive up to Php 5,000. To file for a claim, there are documents that must be submitted to the Office of the Vice President.
