Michelle has been surprising Pinoy pageant fans with her performances in pre-final events in the most prestigious beauty pageant in the world. She received overwhelming support from Pinoys in El Salvador for the preliminary competition.
After the preliminary swimsuit and evening gown competition, she received positive feedback from Pinoy pageant fans and she is thankful for the support she received.
Michelle Dee has been very quiet about her outfits for the Miss Universe competition. For the pre-pageant events, the Filipina beauty queen captured the hearts of many fashionistas with her beautiful OOTDs.
For her national costume, Michelle showcased her personality and highlighted her country. On her Instagram page, Michelle shared the symbolism that her national costume carries.
She highlighted the “solihiya” pattern which has been part of many Filipino lives from years ago until now. This costume upholds the Philippines’ heritage and the nation’s pride.

Michelle is a Philippine Air Force reservist, so she wore a captain’s hat. The back of her costume showcased the country’s tourism slogan “Love The Philippines. “This National Costume represents the Philippines itself — resilient, radiant and ready to embrace the Universe!” the post stated.
Mainly, Michelle Dee wants to promote the tourism industry of the Philippines which “WE ARE PROUD TO SHOWCASE TO THE UNIVERSE.”
