MARIAN RIVERA MOVIE – “Rewind” is DongYan’s first movie after 13 years and here’s the first teaser that was dropped. This film is also one of the official films that will be shown in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes Film Teaser Is Trending
Kapuso actress Marian Rivera is trending after the first drop of “Rewind” has been released.
Celebrity couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes are starring in Star Cinema film and here’s the first drop.
Sharing the big screen again after over a decade are Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes. The last film they did was You to Me Are Everything which was in 2010. This is also the first collaboration between Star Cinema, APT Entertainment, and Agosto Dos Media.
The film is among the eight official entries of Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2023.
Recently, the first scene drop has been released and it was already enough to touch a string of emotion in the viewers. The film is called “Rewind” and in the film, the Kapuso Primetime King and Queen play a couple whose marriage is already shaky.
Dantes is the husband who is not treating his wife kindly while Marian is the wife who seems to be suffering in silence. She’s defending her husband’s rude actions to other people.
In one scene, Dingdong tells Marian that the outfits she picked looked like the ones that are worn during a funeral. She then replied, “Lamay ko naman talaga eh.”
This short line hints at the magical realism element of the film. Then, several events were shown like a car accident happening and the happy memories of the couple before their marriage started to fall apart.
Ben&Ben’s “Sa Susunod Na Habang Buhay” was also played in the background which had a great impact. This is also the official soundtrack of the film.

The film is directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar which also marks the DongYan’s reunion.
