Rhian Ramos showed her support for Michelle Dee
Kapuso actress Rhian Ramos revealed why she can say that Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee deserves the Miss Universe 2023 crown.
Rhian and Michelle have been friends for many years already. They are very close to each other to the point that they decide to live together. With their closeness, it is inevitable for fans to ship them, especially after Michelle’s revelation that she is bisexual.
However, it is also known to many that Rhian’s current boyfriend is businessman-politician Sam Verzosa. The Kapuso actress is also aware that fans have been shipping her and Michelle.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Rhian Ramos expressed how proud she is of her friend. Michelle Dee is representing the Philippines in the 72nd Miss Universe pageant.
Rhian admitted that she has mixed emotions when asked about Michelle’s Miss Universe journey.
“I’m definitely going to miss her but I’m so excited for her also in this next portion of her life. I have absolute trust in her, but she is going to give it her all and perform so well,” the Kapuso actress said.
She added that Michelle has impressed and amazed her so many times already, and she is sure that the beauty queen will do it once again. Rhian shared that she feels like Michelle is her sister. “Isn’t that what friends are, diba (right)? They are the family that we choose,” the actress said.
Being with Michelle for the past two to three years of her journey, she can say that her friend deserves to have her goal. The beauty queen previously said that she is aiming for the fifth Miss Universe for the Philippines.
“I witnessed how much she deserves it. I think that’s why I get so emotional for her because I want to see all of her dreams come true because she does the work. She’s not the kind of person who [simply] hopes for a lot and does nothing,” Rhian Ramos shared.
The Miss Universe 2023 coronation night is set to be held on November 18 in El Salvador.
