The closeness between Eat Bulaga hosts Paolo Contis and Arra San Agustin received a fierce comment from veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin.
Paolo and Arra caught the attention of many netizens during the recent episodes of the Kapuso noontime show. Some commented that there was something different in their closeness, especially when Paolo would exhibit cozy gestures to Arra.
It is known to many showbiz fans that the Kapuso actor is in a relationship with actress Yen Santos. He even mentioned in a previous interview that he could see himself marrying Yen someday.
His relationship with Yen was the reason why netizens expressed negative reactions when he was seen being so close to his female co-host.
In a recent episode of Cristy Fermin’s showbiz program, she also made a comment on this, based on the article in NewsKo. The veteran showbiz writer pointed out that Paolo Contis is too “palikero.”
“Kung maruming-maruming-marumi ang isip mo, ang iisipin mo talaga nananamantala sa pagkakataon si Paolo,” Cristy said. She added that what Paolo is showing right now, he would really get “palikero” comments from people and that he has no respect to Yen Santos.
Then, the veteran showbiz writer has a warning not to fall for the possible gimmick that Paolo is doing. “‘Wag po tayong paloloko kung ito ay isang gimik lamang. Ngayon kung may katotohanan po ito, hayaan natin si Paolo ang magresolba ng problemang ito,” Cristy Fermin said.

Meanwhile, Paolo is currently doing the movie Fuchsia Libre in which he plays the role of a gay wrestler. He considered this role as a “serious” one. Previously, he shared the preparation for this role, and one of those was to lose weight.
