Lady Netizen Slams Private Cemetery’s Management for Allowing Food Vendors to Set Up Stalls Close to Graves
A lady netizen has expressed her dismay over the management of a private cemetery for allowing food vendors to set up stalls.
Cemeteries are sacred places where people visit to pay their respects to the departed, seek solace, and maintain a connection with their loved ones.
Recently, Juliet Guzman Piol, a Facebook user, took her concern to social media after learning that the management of a private cemetery in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental allowed vendors to set up stalls right next to the graves.

The incident took place on November 1, 2023, when Juliet Guzman Piol and others visited their departed loved ones in PalmHaven Bacolod. The private cemetery reportedly shows no respect for their departed loved ones
To their surprise and disappointment, they discovered food stalls set up right next to the burial plots. The post she shared on social media included a photo that clearly showed these food stalls located close to the graves.
Piol said that she bought a lot to provide her loved ones with a peaceful resting place. She had to rent a tent for P1,500 but the place ended up like a public cemetery. To make matters worse, the store owner tell them that they paid P5,000 for their spot.

Juliet paid P45,000 for their lot yet the cemetery’s management considers the burial grounds as business.
