The second largest primary island of the Philippines is Mindanao. This is the farthest region from the capital and there are a lot of stunning natural wonders that you can see there which will make the trip all worth it.

  • Davao is its largest city which has a conservation area for the Philippine Eagle, the country’s national bird.

  • Basilan
    This is located in the south of the Zamboanga Peninsula and is the largest and northernmost of the main islands of the Sulu Archipelago. Some of its must-see natural wonders to see are Malamawi White Beach, Lampinigan Island, Bulingan Falls, and Tenusa Island.
  • Bukidnon
    This province boasts titles such as “Pineapple Capital of the Philippines” and the “Food Basket of Mindanao”. This is located in the Northern Mindanao area. There are a lot of things to do for enjoyment like visiting Mount Kitanglad, Dahilayan Adventure Park known for having Asia’s longest zipline, Panimahawa Bridge, Bukidnon Pineapple Farm, Alalum Falls, and Mount Dulang Dulang.
