- one (1) passport-size photograph
- If you are applying for an APEC Business Card or Permanent Residence, provide two (2) passport-size photos
- valid passport
- validity must be at least six (6) months

- letter of invitation from the relevant sporting body

- For non-commercial filmmakers, prepare the following:
- approval from NFI

Business Visa
- Letter of Recommendation from company indicating the purpose of visit to Papua New Guinea, the duration of stay, location of business, and the target frequency of visit

- Letter of Invitation from business associates
Work Visa
- If non-governmental employment, prepare the following:
- Certificate of incorporation
- IPA certificate permitting a foreign enterprise to conduct business in PNG (if applicable)
- Maintenance Guarantee Bond
