Ogie Diaz talked about Liza Soberano and the people close to her
Talent manager Ogie Diaz fired back at the “patutsada” of John Soberano, the father of actress Liza Soberano.
Liza was under the management of Ogie for more than a decade. Throughout those years, she did numerous projects on ABS-CBN and its affiliate companies like Star Cinema. Her loveteam with actor Enrique Gil was one of the most successful onscreen partnerships of their generation.
However, Liza became controversial when she decided to leave Ogie and the Kapamilya network to pursue a career in Hollywood.
She chose James Reid’s Careless company to manage her career in the international entertainment scene. However, just recently, rumors surfaced that Liza Soberano already left Careless.
In a recent episode of Showbiz Now Na, this was one of the topics that Ogie Diaz discussed with his co-host Mama Loi. They also talked about the relationship that Liza had now with her Tita Joni, who was her former road manager.
Ogie shared that Liza and Tita Joni have a business together and the latter does not know what to do because the actress is not talking to her personally and she is just sending a representative.
“If I were Liza kausapin niya tita niya tutal mag-tita naman sila, pinsan ng daddy (John Castillo Soberano) at naging malaking tulay ang tita Joni niya sa kanyang buhay at career,” Ogie said.
Mama Loi shared that Tita Joni shared a cryptic post on Facebook. “You remembered everything? Sana natatandaan mo din na sinabi ko sa ’yo, padating ng panahon na makarating ka sa taas ‘wag na ‘wag mo akong babanggain dahil ako rin ang magpapabagsak sa ’yo.’ Si Liza kaya ang tinutukoy niya rito?” Ogie’s co-host said.
The talent manager said that he knows Tita Joni and she is someone who does not post cryptic posts. However, Ogie said that he does not want to conclude easily when it comes to this matter.
In the same episode of his YouTube show, Ogie Diaz talked about John Soberano. The father of Liza Soberano reposted a post that ABS-CBN shared congratulating the actress for the upcoming release of her first Hollywood film Lisa Frankenstein. His caption was, “I can’t wait ano ilalabas ng mga camp ni Cristy Permin [Fermin] at Ogie ngaun.”
The talent manager asked John, “Ano ilalabas namin daddy, e, di congratulations din.” Then, Ogie pointed out that the father of Liza Soberano should not be the source of intrigue.
“Ano ba inaasahan mo daddy? Dapat nga hindi ka nag-iimbita ng pang-iintriga o away dahil wala namang umaaway kay Liza at wala ring umaaway sa ’yo? Dapat ano na lang tayo, positive lang sa buhay ‘wag na ‘yung mga ganyan na may hanash,” Ogie stressed.
