The daughter of Ricardo Cepeda shared her thoughts about the syndicated estafa case
Sachi Go, the daughter of seasoned actor Ricardo Cepeda with seasoned actress Snooky Cerna, has spoken about the syndicated estafa case.
Ricardo was detained after he was arrested for the aforementioned case. Previously, his stepson Joshua de Sequera defended him against the accusation saying that his stepfather was accused of something that he has not done. He also stressed that the actor was just a product endorser of the said company.
Ricardo’s wife, actress Marina Benipayo spoke about the bashing they received and called to the public to refrain from commenting negatively online because people do not know what really happened.
Ricardo Cepeda’s daughter Sachi Go also made a clarification through a social media post, based on the article in Bandera.
“Just posting now because there is a lot of misinformation going around. Have not spoken as there are many legal elements to consider, but the amount of problematic assumptions requires some clarity,” she wrote.
She also stressed that her father was “wrongfully accused” but until now, he is being detained. Sachi reiterated the role of her father as a brand ambassador and that this role has nothing to do when it comes to the company’s financial transactions.
“While I can’t speak on too many details on this case, it’s cut and dry that my father has nothing to do with the accusations. The only reason he is being tied to it is because of a surface level brand deal,” she said.
Reportedly, Ricardo Cepeda was visited by his friends in showbiz like Sen. Robin Padilla, Nadia Montenegro, Jay Manalo, and Lorenzo Mara. He has been in detention for a week now.
As of writing, Ricardo’s ex-wife Snooky Serna has not spoken yet about the sydicated estafa case filed against him. Previously, the actor has broke his silence about the case and he denied the allegations against him.
