Usually, oil companies announce price changes every Monday and implement them the following day.

The Department of Energy released the latest available data, indicating a year-to-date net increase of P12.25 per liter for gasoline, P11.35 per liter for diesel, and P5.94 per liter for kerosene.

In Metro Manila, the range of fuel prices per liter stands as follows: gasoline prices range from P57.70 to P78.50, diesel ranges between P58.85 to P71.70, while kerosene prices fluctuate between P76.75 to P89.09.

Consumers are advised to remain updated, take advantage of price comparisons, and make informed choices when filling up at the pump. This rollback will be a welcome development for many Filipinos, especially those who depend on diesel to power their vehicles and kerosene for various household uses, including lighting and cooking.

The looming price rollback can have a meaningful impact on the budgets of consumers and businesses that rely on these fuels.
