Daniel Padilla talked about longevity in the entertainment industry
Supreme Idol Daniel Padilla admitted that in his 13 years in show business, he also feels that it is “nakakapagod.”
Daniel officially started his career in the entertainment industry through his supporting role in Gimik 2010. From that, he got his first leading role in the teen-oriented drama series Growing Up in 2011. In this project, he was paired with Kathryn Bernardo, who became his longtime onscreen partner and his real-life girlfriend.
Their tandem is called KathNiel and together, they have done hit teleseryes and blockbuster films.
Spending a decade and three years in showbiz, Daniel Padilla admitted that there are times he also feels tired, based on the article in PUSH. “I do get tired (laughs). Nakakapagod din. Nakakapagod din pero you know, it’s part of the job,” the son of Karla Estrada and Rommel Padilla said.
The actor, on the other hand, said that seeing the love and support from the fans makes him energized again. “Lagi namang pagka andiyan yung nakikita mo yung mga sumusuporta at nagmamahal lagi, lagi namang nag-re-refresh yung pakiramdam mo,” he said.
Daniel added that every time there is a new project, this excites him because he gets to play a new character again. He said that his craft gives that certain excitement to him.
Daniel Padilla has a new movie with award-winning actor John Arcilla titled The Guest. He is also set to do another movie with Kathryn Bernardo and both these movies will be released next year.
Regarding Kathryn’s successful movie A Very Good Girl, Daniel shared that he is proud of what his girlfriend has achieved. He pointed out that their individual achievements are also each other’s success.
“Wala naman pressure eh. Wala naman akong mahihiling kundi laging pagpupuri sa lahat ng ginagawa namin, sa ginagawa ko at siyempre ni Kathryn. Kasi yung victory namin mag-isa ay victory rin naming dalawa, para sa isa’t isa all the time,” the actor said.
