The wife of Ricardo Cepeda had this reminder to the public
Actress Marina Benipayo, the wife of actor Ricardo Cepeda, spoke about the bashing that their family received following the syndicated estafa case.
Ricardo was arrested for syndicated estafa and he was detained at the Quezon City Police District Camp Karingal. Since no bail was posted, there is no definite time when he will be allowed to go out.
Amid this issue, his son Joshua de Sequera defended him. He said that his father was just wrongly accused. Joshua pointed out that Ricardo was just an endorser of the company that was involved in the estafa case.
Ricardo Cepeda’s wife also spoke about this issue. In her TikTok post, Marina Benipayo addressed the bashing that they received following the arrest. She pointed out that there were content creators who would post something negative about her husband and people would also make negative reactions.
Marina asked the public to refrain from believing what was written against Ricardo. She said that before commenting, people should know who they really are.
The actress cited that they saw comments online accusing them of having a lavish lifestyle and so they eventually faced financial problems. She stressed that they are living a simple life and even a road trip is a luxury for them.
Marina also clarified that their roles onscreen are far different from their personalities in real life. The wife of Ricardo once again stressed that he has no whatsoever involvement in the company that is the center of this issue.
She added that they did not even invest in that company because they had no means to invest. Marina Benipayo pointed out that Ricardo Cepeda was not a signatory in any company’s documents. She also said that right now, what they need is prayer.

On Ricardo’s Facebook page, Marina also shared a video announcing to the actor’s followers that the page will be taken over by his admin.
