Yexel Sebastian, Mikee Agustin Fly To Japan Amid Alleged ₱200M Investment Scam

Famous toy collector Yexel Sebastian and his wife fly to Japan amid alleged scam.

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) confirmed that Yexel Sebastian and Mikee Agustin left the country on Monday, October 9.

Several overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) complained about famous toy collector Yexel Sebastian. The former member of the 90s dance group Streetboys is currently under fire for being tagged in an alleged investment scam.

He allegedly enticed several OFWs to put their money in a dubious investment scheme.

His promised investment returns did not happen, hence, the complaints. As of this writing, the toy collector has not issued an official statement yet. He and his wife Mikee Agustin received complaints and this issue already reached Raffy Tulfo in Action, a public affairs show.

The payouts allegedly did not materialize and were delayed for a couple of months already and it is still counting. Based on the allegations, the couple amassed Php 200 million with a promise that their invested money would double in just a year.

Amid the investment scam allegations, the couple was able to leave the country and go to Japan on Monday, October 9.

This was confirmed by Senator Raffy Tulfo who was informed by someone he knows that they were able to fly with them in a plane going to Japan.

“Kanina po meron akong kakilala na nakasabay niya sa eroplano itong dalawang magkasintahan sakay po ng Cebu Pacific going to Nagoya, Japan. Hindi ko alam kung ito’y tumatakas na or baka pupunta dun sa Nagoya para magrecruit na naman ng mga investors,” say the senator.
