Vice Ganda was asked about the charges he and Ion Perez are facing
Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda has this answer when asked about the case filed by the Kapisanan ng Social Media Broadcasters ng Pilipinas, Inc. (KSMBPI) against him and his partner Ion Perez.
The group believes that Vice and Ion violated Article 201 of the Revised Penal Code, Republic Act No.10175, or Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.Â
The case filed was in line with the icing incident that Vice and Ion had on It’s Showtime. Before this, the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) decided to suspend the noontime show for 12 days because of the same incident.
Despite releasing the said suspension, It’s Showtime continued to air. It is because the show filed a temporary restraining order.
In a previous interview, MTRCB chair Lala Sotto said that the decision of the board might change if Vice Ganda and Ion Perez will apologize for what happened.
Chair Sotto also denied that she is involved with the case filed by KSMBPI against the celebrity couple. The speculations that she was involved in this came after she was spotted with the group days prior to the filing of the case.
In a recent event, members of the entertainment press were able to catch up with the Unkabogable Star. One of the reporters, based on that video shared by The Philippine Star, asked Vice to react to the case filed against him.
“I’m here to enjoy,” Vice said after hearing the question. “Let’s enjoy the night,” the comedian-host added and he laughed.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Vice Ganda was asked about the wealth that he has now. He said that he could no longer measure what he had and he was not just talking about material wealth that he possesses but everything and the person he treasures.
