A young man seeks forgiveness after climbing El Divino Rostro during Traslacion Procession which left many in shock and disbelief.

Previously, an 18-year-old novice voyador climbed onto the very banner of El Divino Rostro during the peak of the Traslacion Procession. The young man ascended to the estandarte amidst the sea of devotees.

Barangay Captain Kap Allan Beriso accompanied the young voyador to Archbishop’s Palace in Naga City. The young man promptly sought forgiveness for his inappropriate act. His act of atonement took place at a solemn venue appropriate for such a serious time.

Acknowledging his mistake, the young voyador vowed not to repeat such actions and accepted the guidance and admonishments from those present. The incident culminated in the young man receiving both forgiveness and valuable life lessons.

“Nag hagad po ning tawad itong lalaki na nag sakat Kang imahen Divino Rostro..Sana po itao ta saiya ang pag papatawad ,kung ang Dios ngani dakula ang puso sa pag papatawad kita pa kaya na tao .salamat po,” Beriso said.

Beriso said in a reminder that even in the face of human error, there is always room for redemption. He also noted that the young man had no prior negative records in their barangay, suggesting that this may have been an isolated lapse in judgment.

The young guy’s act of humility emphasizes the understanding and compassion that can be found within communities during moments of vulnerability.
