A lady vendor gets emotional and bursts into tears after a male thief reportedly stole her hard-earned cash.

Recently, a robbery incident left Mean Binaton in tears after her cellphones and a sling bag containing her hard-earned income from vending were stolen. One of the cellphones was intended to be a gift for her child.
The patrolling barangay watchmen were able to corner and apprehend the thief. Although the alleged suspect has been arrested, he continues to vehemently deny the accusations. The authorities failed to recover the stolen items.
“Hanggang ako po ngayon nanginginig-nginig po ako dahil pinaghirapan ko yung pera ko eh, noong lockdown na yun nangangalakal ako para matulungan ko yung mga anak ko dahil nag-aaral sila lahat yun,” Binaton said.

Binaton narrated that the suspect was observed while roaming around the area. After a few moments, the unidentified man took the sling bag and immediately ran away to evade the authorities.
According to the authorities, the culprit is a member of ‘Sputnik’ gang. “Upon background investigation, tumitira rin ito ng nakaw sa may bandang area ng Makati, Pasay, labas pasok na po ito sa kulungan at miyembro rin ito ng sputnik gang,” Ermita Police Station Deputy Station Commander Pmaj Joemar Mukarram said.
