Julia Barretto was asked about the current status of her relationship with Gerald Anderson
Actress Julia Barretto answered the rumor that she and her boyfriend actor Gerald Anderson are secretly married.
Julia and Gerald have been together for several years now and it is known to many even before their relationship confirmation, they already went controversial. It is because of Gerald’s breakup with Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo.
The actor was accused of cheating and allegedly Julia was the third party. Despite the bashing that they received, their relationship remained strong. Their friends and loved ones rallied behind them and continued supporting their love for each other.
In a recent interview during an event, based on the TikTok post of Racrac Hermano, Julia Barretto was asked by the media about the rumors that she and Gerald Anderson already tied the knot and they are just keeping it a secret.
Julia said that nothing is kept secret right now because of how news widely spread easily. “No, walang ganun. Walang secret secret. Mahirap nang magka-secret ngayon sa mundong mabilis ang balita,” the actress said.
When asked if she is open to the possibility of getting married, Julia asked why people are so excited about the future that she and Gerald will have. She stressed that they are just so happy where they are right now.
The actress said that it is something to look forward to but there is no need to rush them about this. She added that this is something to be shared when the two people are willing to share and it should not be asked constantly.
“When the time comes, it comes,” the actress said, adding that they are wondering why people are rushing them to enter to the next level of their relationship.
