What are the things you should know about Jomalig Island before going there?

One destination in the Philippines that you will surely love is Jomalig Island.
We already have Boracay Island, Bantayan Island, and Samal Island to boast when it comes to white sands but what makes Jomalig stand out is not its white sand but its golden sands.

How to Get There?
You can take a bus or van to Infanta. The travel may take four to five hours and get off at the Ungos Port. Ride a boat from the port and this boat ride will about five to six hours to the island.
Getting around Jomalig
The best way to discover and explore the island is by renting a tricycle or habal-habal. You may also avail of an island hopping trip and visit neighboring islands and beaches.
Things to remember:
- Booking and reservation for resort accommodation are a must.
- Parking is not allowed in the port.
- Bring enough cash for certain fees like entrance fees, camping fees, environmental fees, island hopping rates, and habal-habal rent.
- The mobile network signal is poor in some areas.
- Help preserve and protect the island by maintaining cleanliness. Avoid littering.

As you visit the island, make sure to visit some of its famous tourist spots like Kanaway Beach, Little Boracay, Little Batanes, Salibungot Beach, and Manlanat Island. You should not also miss the sunset and swim in the turquoise waters.
