TAGAYTAY TOURIST SPOTS – Here are some of the best tourist spots and attractions in Tagaytay that anyone could visit.
If you are a person from Manila or other nearby places, Tagaytay is probably the place for you if you want some break from the city’s noise. This place is just 60 kilometers away from Manila and is loved by many because of its cool climate, stunning views, and abundant activities.
There are a lot of Tagaytay hotels with the Taal View that can accommodate you if you are planning for an overnight stay.
The famous Breakfast At Antonio’s can also be found in this small city and here are some of the places and spots that will give you a fun and great experience:
- Taal Lake and Volcano
This is the smallest active volcano in the world and this can be seen in dining establishments and other attractions. Make sure to always check first for advisories before planning to go here.
- Sky Ranch
This place is something that kids will surely love. This entertainment complex has anything that an amusement park has from rides and other attractions that are appealing not only to kids but also to teens and adults. Skyranch also has a view of the city and Taal Lake and Volcano. Sky Eye, one of the tallest Ferris wheels in the country, can also be found here.
- People’s Park in the Sky
This was formerly known as the Palace in the Sky. This is a mansion transformed to become an urban park. This is located at the top of Mt. Sungay and the view from there is breathtaking.
- Tagaytay Picnic Grove
This place offers fun activities to do like eco-trail, horseback riding, zipline, and cable rides. Prepare additional fees per ride, park attraction, and hut rental.
- Mahogany Beef Market
For the cool weather, a warm bowl of bulalo soup is a perfect match. This is located at a public marketplace.
- Museo Orlina
This museum is named after renowned glass sculptor Ramon Orlina. This houses beautiful glass sculptures, commissioned works of art, and arts by both local and foreign artists.
- Fantasy World
This is the Philippines ’ version of Disneyland. It was built to rival the said world-famous amusement park but the construction was stopped and this place did not become operational. However, the colorful buildings and Bavarian-inspired castles were enough reasons for this place to become an attraction.
