Will Chynna Ortaleza completely leave acting?
Showbiz personality Chynna Ortaleza talked about her new career but it is still in the entertainment industry.
Chynna started her career as an actress at a young age. She was part of several youth-oriented shows. Eventually, she ventured into more serious roles. In recent years, her acting career took a back seat.
Chynna and her husband musician Kean Cipriano established the production company O/C Records that also manages talents.
In a recent media conference for an upcoming series Safe Skies Archer, Chynna Ortaleza was spotted at the event. However, she is not one of the cast members of this project. It was revealed that she is the creative producer of this.
Prior to this project, she was also the creative producer of The Rain in España featuring Heaven Peralejo and Marco Gallo. Safe Skies Archer is part of author Gwy Saludes’s University Series books.
Saludes is being managed by Chynna and Kean’s O/C Records. “So, nag-pitch kami kay Boss Vic del Rosario ng books niya. Interesado si Boss Vic, he liked the idea so he also knows na one of my dreams na hindi ko pa talaga na-fulfill is to work behind the camera,” the actress shared.
Chynna also said that she has been very vocal about her aspirations when it comes to her career outside of acting. “Very vocal po ako na parang goal ko na maging si Miss Charo [Santos-Concio],” she said.
Charo Santos became a creative producer and eventually a television executive after years of acting. Chynna Ortaleza shared that she received encouraging words from Viva’s Boss Vic Del Rosario when it comes to her new career.
“Sabi sa akin ni Boss Vic, ‘Chynna, I think ito yung chance mo. Galingan mo dito, maging creative producer ka,” Chynna shared what the Viva head said.
The actress also expressed excitement that as a first-time creative producer, she already has six projects. Chynna admitted that even during the time she was active as an actress, she loved to talk with people working behind the scenes.
