The Alcatel U3 was released on March 26, 2017. The budget smartphone is offered in two colors – Black and White. It is powered by a 1680 mAh Li-Ion battery (removable).
Body & Display:
The dimension of the device is 121.3 x 64.2 x 10.7 mm and weighs 129 grams. It features a 4.0-inch screen size and the display is an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 480 x 800 pixels resolution.
Platform:
The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek MT6737 Quad-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is ARM Mali-T720 MP2. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It is packed with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It has a standard memory slot (such as an SD or micro-SD card slot) that enables users to extend the built-in internal storage. It can be expanded up to 32GB.
Main Camera:
The rear side of the Alcatel U3 sports a 5-megapixel camera with features like autofocus, continuous shooting, digital zoom, exposure compensation, face detection, geotagging, HDR, ISO settings, and panorama.
Selfie Camera:
On the front, there’s a 1.3-megapixel camera for clicking selfies and self-shooting videos. It also features flash.
Connectivity options on the smartphone include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS with A-GPS. Its sensors include an accelerometer.
