Typhoon Goring: “Walang Pasok” In These Areas For August 29

Here are the class suspension announcements due to Typhoon Goring on August 29, Tuesday.

TYPHOON GORING – Class suspensions have been declared in the following areas for Tuesday, August 29, due to Typhoon Goring and Habagat.

According to the 5 p.m. bulletin from state weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Goring is enhancing the southwest monsoon or Habagat. This is seen to bring rains across Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and Visayas for the next three days.

The enhanced southwest monsoon may cause gusty conditions in Aurora, Bataan, Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Visayas, Dinagat Islands, Camiguin, and most of Zamboanga Peninsula.

In a previous article, Goring brought flooding to several parts of the country. In the forecast, it is said that the typhoon will maintain its strength in the next 24 hours and will “gradually intensify before passing close to the Batanes area”.
