List of Celebrities W/ Below-Average IQs
CELEBRITIES – Here is a compilation of notable individuals within the celebrity sphere who reportedly possess lower-than-average IQ scores.
The internet is brimming with fabricated celebrity IQ ratings, revealing a clear truth: IQ tests are optional, and individuals with low scores have little reason to publicize them. Some celebrities who might be perceived as lacking in intelligence surprise us with remarkably high IQ results.
For instance, Arnold Schwarzenegger boasts a score of 135, Madonna reaches a genius level of 140, and Quentin Tarantino excels at 160, the same as Einstein.
Tom Cruise’s IQ stands at 94, according to certain sources, while David Hasselhof’s is supposedly 73, and John F. Kennedy’s is said to be 60. These figures are confidently asserted by various websites. (An IQ of 60 indicates ‘mild mental disability’.) However, JFK’s real IQ score was 119, which falls on the higher side of the average range. Yet, the question arises: Where are these scores originating from? Why would numerous celebrities undergo IQ tests and subsequently reveal these disheartening outcomes?
Appearances often prove misleading. As an illustration, Jayne Mansfield, a renowned Hollywood beauty, possessed an impressive IQ score of 149, signifying a genius-level intellect.
Muhammad Ali: “The greatest not the smartest”
Though he’s often portrayed as having a shockingly low IQ of 78, suggesting he was at the edge of mental disability, a deeper analysis unveils more nuanced considerations. This score was attained during his military service exam for the Vietnam War, a cause he vehemently opposed. Could Ali have strategically approached the test? It seems plausible. Furthermore, the IQ test has been criticized for cultural bias, potentially disadvantaging non-white groups. When Ali’s quick-wittedness, inventive rhyming outbursts, and memorable quotes are considered (“I’m so mean I make medicine sick”), he doesn’t fit the profile of a simpleton.
Andy Warhol: Stupid like a fox
Turning to Andy Warhol, the internet claims his IQ was a meager 86. Despite projecting an intentionally shallow persona (“I am a deeply superficial person”), he not only graduated college but also achieved immense wealth and fame by creating art that subtly ridiculed the very wealthy individuals buying it—a rather shrewd move. His prediction that “In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes” underscores a level of insight that contradicts an IQ of 86, suggesting a possible error in reporting.
Various US Presidents: A confederacy of dunces?
Questioning the intellectual capabilities of US leaders has a lengthy and distinguished history, but in 2001, a widely circulated hoax elevated this practice to a new extreme. The then-current President, George W. Bush, was claimed to possess a dismal IQ of 91, while his immediate predecessor, Bill Clinton, was attributed to an extraordinary IQ of 182.
Although George W. Bush was notorious for making less-than-wise statements (“I’ve learned that the best way to lift one’s spirits is to raise someone else’s”), the IQ of 91 seemed harsh. A subsequent study actually credited him with a respectable IQ of 125. (Bill Clinton’s IQ was also revised downward to 137, placing him three points below his wife Hillary, who came close to becoming President.)
As for the assertions that Donald Trump possessed a genius-level IQ of 156: fake news.
Kim Kardashian: Stupid is as stupid does?
“North [the name of her first-born] has a better direction. I don’t think we’ll go with another direction. I think South is so stupid. It’s the stupidest thing ever.”
“Stretchmarks are my biggest fear of life.”
“I hate it when women wear the wrong foundation color. It might be the worst thing on the planet when they wear their makeup too light.”
Kim’s IQ score remains unknown. There’s a possibility that she could be a profoundly intelligent individual cloaked in a persona of foolishness. Hopefully, this isn’t the case, as it would be quite distressing. Interestingly, there is some research suggesting that the elevated omega-3 levels required to maintain her notable physique might enhance cognitive function. This again highlights the idea that we might be witnessing the decline of Western civilization.
Nobel Prize-winning physicist clearly an idiot
If you assume that only self-absorbed, shallow celebrities are lacking in intelligence, take into account the case of American theoretical physicist Richard Feynman. He underwent an IQ test as a pre-teen and achieved an entirely average score of 125. Despite this, he went on to earn a reputation as one of the most brilliant and influential figures in his field. He redefined quantum electrodynamics and secured the Nobel Prize in 1965, all while humorously acknowledging his modest IQ.
The underlying message: IQ scores should be treated skeptically, and online articles about IQs should be met with considerable doubt. To wholeheartedly believe in them would suggest having an IQ below 90.
