Eat Bulaga To Transfer To Another Network? TAPE Inc. Speaks

Rumor has it that Eat Bulaga will transfer to another network

The camp of Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE) spoke about the rumors that Eat Bulaga will transfer to another network.

The said noontime show has been airing on GMA since 1995 after it left ABS-CBN. It continued airing on the Kapuso network even though its original hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and the legit Dabarkads decided to leave.

The Kapuso noontime show has been facing issues since that mass exodus of staff and hosts until the new hosts were introduced.

One of the recent issues about the show is that it is set to transfer to another network. Based on the article in Manila Bulletin this rumor surfaced after Seth “Bullet” Jalosjos, TAPE’s financial officer was seen in a photo greeting for Senator Mark Villar’s birthday.

The Villar family owns ALLTV which was launched last year. TAPE’s lawyer Maggie Abraham-Garduque spoke about this. She said that there is no truth to the rumors that Eat Bulaga will transfer to Villar’s network.

This is absolutely false news. Camella of the Villars is a major sponsor of Eat Bulaga’s segment ‘May Pa-Key Kami Sayo’ wherein winners can win a house and lot,” the lawyer said.

Abraham-Garduque added that Bullet Jalosjos merely greeted Senator Mark Villar on his birthday and that there is no basis for the speculations that the greeting is tantamount to saying that TAPE’s noontime show will be on ALLTV.

The lawyer also stressed that the noontime show has an existing contract with GMA Network and this will end in 2024. This is also the reason why Kapuso executive Annette Gozon-Valdes said that GMA has no timeslot for Willie Revillame because there are existing shows already, including Eat Bulaga.

Previously, EB host Paolo Contis said that he is careful about his jokes on the noontime show. This is because of the MTRCB issue concerning TVJ’s EAT and Kapamilya noontime It’s Showtime.
