The Honor Play 40C was officially announced on July 14, 2023. The smartphone is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 5200 mAh battery + fast battery charging 10W. It is offered in three colors – Green, Black, and Blue.
Body & Display:
The dimension of the phone is 163.32 x 75.07 x 8.35 mm and weighs 188 grams. It comes with a screen size of 6.56 inches LTPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
Platform:
Play 40C is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Adreno 619. It runs on the Android 13 + Magic UI 7.1 operating system. It is integrated with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also supports expandable microSD storage up to 1TB.
Main Camera:
The rear side of the Honor Play 40C sports a 13-megapixel camera with features like autofocus, HDR, face detection, and LED flash.
Selfie Camera:
On the front, the mobile features a 5-megapixel camera for clicking beautiful selfies and making video calls. It features autofocus, panorama, and HDR.
Connectivity options on the phone include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, GPS with dual-band A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC. Its sensors include fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
