Sylvia Sanchez is grateful that the typhoon did not cause a scene in Arjo and Maine’s wedding
Veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez shared that she was not nervous about the weather during Arjo Atayde and Maine Mendoza’s wedding.
Arjo and Maine tied the knot on July 28 and at this time, Typhoon Egay was hitting many parts of the Philippines. The wedding was held in Baguio City and it was a star-studded event as showbiz and political personalities celebrated with the couple despite the bad weather.
In a recent Instagram post, Arjo’s mom shared what she was thinking before and during the wedding regarding the typhoon that could affect the wedding plans.
Sylvia Sanchez shared that on July 26, two days before the wedding, she was not worried about the weather. This was the same the day after.
“July 26 2023 ang lakas ng bagyo pero hindi ako kabado. July 27, 2023 ang lakas pa din ng ulan pero hindi pa din ako kabado,” she wrote in the caption of her post featuring a video that was taken before the wedding ceremony started.
Sylvia shared that on July 27, she texted Maine. The veteran actress told her daughter-in-law, “I love you, Maine.” The Phenomenal Star replied, “Love you titaaa [pleading face emoji] sana po maging ok lahat tomorrow.”
With so much optimism, the veteran actress said, “Magiging ok yan Maine,” adding that they have prayed so much that the weather will be fine.
“For the nth time pinatunayan ng DIYOS na sya ang DIYOS na makapangyarihan sa lahat, mapagmahal at walang imposible sa KANYA. July 28,2023. Mismong araw ng kasal nina ARJO at MAINE [smiling face with open mouth and smiling eyes emoji] Heto po ang panahon,” Sylvia shared.
In the video, everyone looked excited and happy. Netizens also expressed their happiness for Arjo and Maine.
