Moira dela Torre feels empowered after the trials she went through
Singer-songwriter Moira dela Torre said that she is thankful for the “worst part” of her life and this is the reason behind this.
It is known to many that Moira had a tough time after her breakup with her estranged husband musician Jason Hernandez. That separation was quite controversial as cheating allegations surfaced from both sides.
However, in a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, it appeared that Moira has moved on already from that dark chapter of her life. Many noticed her glow-up after the breakup.
She said that she started appreciating herself more and that she realized that she is not so bad after all. “There was something about this past year that just changed and I thought the change was going to look different but it was actually a change that wasn’t so bad,” Moira dela Torre shared.
Right now, she said that she hasn’t felt more empowered since 2016. For her, there was something that shifted. However, she stressed that she is not pointing blame at anyone.
“I know that everything happens for a reason. I know that there are seasons to everything and I know that God works all together for good. I know that,” she said. Moira also pointed out that there is no need for her to shrink herself or rain down on her dreams and she can still continue her journey to reaching her goals.
Then, she stressed that what she feels now is gratitude after the bad things that have happened. “I’m at a point where I’m actually thankful for the worst part of my life. Now, I’m actually finding myself rather thankful for the hardest moments of my life yet, because it has given me the chance to grow and approach love better,” Moira dela Torre said.
The singer-songwriter also shared that she realized that sometimes voices around her can be very noisy and that those noisy voices do not always mean that they are right.
