Ogie Diaz talked about being a father to his daughters
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz shared that he has a prize for his daughters if they are still unmarried when they reach the age of 25.
In a recent Facebook post, Ogie talked about his family. Having five daughters is a big responsibility for him and his wife Mommy Sowl. He said that he would always tell his kids to study hard for their future.
The showbiz personality said that he would tell this stressing that finances go up and he is not immune from the struggles when it comes to money matters.
“Kaya sana, ang mga bata, pahalagahan ‘yan, wag sayangin at magtagumpay sa buhay. Dahil ‘yun lang naman ang pangarap ng mga magulang,” he said.
Ogie Diaz also said that doing the “utang na loob” gesture to parents depends on the child. He does not want to just be under the care of his children when he gets old.
The vlogger also said that right now, his kids are very close to each other but there is a possibility that this will not be the case when they will have their own families in the future.
Ogie is thinking that it is inevitable that the husbands of his daughters will influence them when it comes to decision-making and other things. With this, he revealed that he has a prize for his kids if they will remain unmarried until they reach 25 years old.
“That’s why I told my daughters, “Pag 25yo na kayo at wala pa kayong asawa, meron kayong prize sa akin.” True yan. Nagtaka kayo? Wa echos. Usapan talaga namin ‘yan ng mga anak ko, lalo na ni 21 at 19yo,” he said.
Ogie Diaz stressed that it is because he wants them to enjoy their youth and be happy with the “gimikan” while they still have no responsibilities.
