How To Pay for Items on Lazada W/ GCash

LAZADA SHOPPING – This is how you may use GCash to pay for your Lazada transactions.

Typically, when shopping on Lazada, I opt for Cash on Delivery as it allows me to pay upon receiving the item, providing convenience. However, due to the safer option of going cashless nowadays, I recently decided to try it for a purchase. Surprisingly, paying using this method was also hassle-free, and I no longer had to rush to find my wallet when the delivery arrived.

Here’s the step-by-step process of how you can pay for your Lazada purchase using GCash. Please note that you must have sufficient balance in your GCash account to complete the transaction; otherwise, it won’t push through.

1.Select Payment Method

After checking out, you need to choose the GCash e-Wallet as your preferred payment method. The next screen will display the option to use your GCash on Lazada, showing the total amount of your purchase. Tap “Pay Now” to proceed.

2. Login to your GCash

You will be redirected to the GCash website for the payment process. Enter the mobile number connected to your GCash account and tap “NEXT.” An authentication code will be sent to your mobile number via SMS. Enter the 6-digit code and click “SUBMIT CODE.”

On the next screen, log in to your GCash account by entering your 4-digit MPIN and tapping “NEXT.”

3. Confirm your transaction

The next screen will display the amount you need to pay and your GCash balance. Here, you can confirm the transaction to pay for your Lazada purchase using your GCash. To proceed with the payment, tap “AGREE AND PAY.”

4. Receive Payment Confirmation

On the subsequent screen, you will receive confirmation of the successful payment. It will indicate “Payment Success” along with your order number below. You will also receive a text message on your mobile number, confirming the successful transaction.
