Chito Miranda Proud To Be w/ Younger Groups on Music Charts

Chito Miranda shared this post about the recent music chart result

Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda said that he is proud to be with younger groups on music charts.

Chito is part of a band that first rose to fame in the 90s. That era featured iconic bands like Eraserheads and Rivermaya. For three decades, PNE continues to make music and until now, music enthusiasts are enjoying their songs.

It is also a known fact that many new bands and new artists look up to them, not just for what they have done and achieved in the music industry but also because of the bond that each member has with each other.

In a recent Instagram post, Chito Miranda expressed how proud he is of their group. He shared a screenshot of a post from Chart Data PH showcasing the Spotify PH Daily Top OPM Groups dated July 19.

It can be seen that Parokya Ni Edgar is number six (6). In the caption of his post, Chito expressed that he is happy to see the result of the music chart.

Honestly, I’m really happy that you still enjoy the Parish, together with the famous bands now, even though our band is so old,” Chito said.

Then, The Voice Generations coach shared that back in the 90s, they would always be with Eraserheads and Rivermaya in music charts but now, this has changed because they are now with younger bands.

And now again, Ben&Ben, Dec Ave and SB19 are with us… Even though we are already like their uncles,” the band vocalist said.

To recall, the PNE frontman expressed his admiration for the P-Pop Kings SB19 for their musicality, especially now that he works with one of the members Stell Ajero in The Voice Generations.

Chito Miranda also shared this kind of scenario in which their band is still being recognized by the younger generation. “Actually, I am really proud of that fact… Because I really appreciate the fact that after 30 years, you still trip the Parish until now. Thank you very much indeed,” he said.
