This is the reason why Sef Cadayon left the longest-running gag show
Kapuso actor Sef Cadayona is no longer part of Bubble Gang and this is the reason behind his decision to leave the longest-running noontime gag show.
Bubble Gang started airing in 1995. Among the pioneer cast members were Michael V and Ogie Alcasid. Over the years, the show featured a lot of celebrities as cast members and guests.
Just recently, it was announced that the show is undergoing a revamp. New cast members were introduced while other older cast members bid goodbye. The show, which is previously airing on Friday will now take the Sunday night time slot.
Sef Cadayona is one of the cast members who are no longer part of Bubble Gang. In a recent interview on Fast Talk, King of Talk Boy Abunda asked him why he left the show.
The Kapuso actor said that he is not totally gone and that he is just around if he is needed. He also explained why he decided to leave the show. “It was I think for me, it was my time to graduate and to look into different sight ng buhay ko,” Sef said.
Then, he revealed that months ago, he already thought of quitting showbiz. “I don’t know, kung sa damdamin lang, parang hindi ko nakikita na nagsa-shine ulit ‘yong talent ko,” he said.
Tito Boy asked him to be honest about what he feels when it comes to his career if he feels he is not given the roles that he deserves, as well as the chances in the industry, and if he felt that he can no longer continue because he was not happy anymore.
Sef said, “In a sense yes, nang hindi showbiz.” He also said that it is not about his stability in showbiz but it was more of a question to himself if he is still portraying his roles right.
