Amy Perez Reacts To 'Rival' Shows EAT, Eat Bulaga & It's Showtime

Amy Perez shared her thoughts on current noontime shows in the Philippines

Seasoned TV host Amy Perez reacted to the “rivalry” between noontime shows EAT on TV5, Eat Bulaga on GMA, and It’s Showtime on GTV.

Amy has been in the industry for many years already. She has done a lot of shows over the years. Currently, she is one of the hosts of the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime which is also airing on GTV, a network that is also owned by GMA.

Since It’s Showtime is airing on GTV, several Kapuso stars already guested on the Kapamilya show.

During a recent guesting on Fast Talk, the talk show of King of Talk Boy Abunda, Amy was asked about her thoughts on the rivalry between noontime shows.

“Competition is stiff. Nandiyan ang Eat Bulaga, nandiyan ang TVJ, ang E.A.T., nandiyan ang Showtime. Ikaw, you’ve been in this business… nag-Eat Bulaga ka rin,” Tito Boy asked Amy Perez.

The female TV host recalled that she was able to guest on Eat Bulaga when the TVJ show was airing on ABS-CBN. “Oo, nag-guest din ako dati sa kanila for a time. I think noong nasa ABS din sila noon,” she said.

When asked about the competition between noontime shows, Amy had a positive response to this. “Very happy because it’s healthy. ‘Yung industriya natin sa telebisyon is back,” the female TV host said.

She added that this is a win-win situation for everyone whether those in front of the camera or those in the production team.

In a recent episode of the Kapuso morning show Unang Hirit, Amy Perez had a guest appearance. The Kapamilya host was part of ABS-CBN’s morning show Umagang Kay Ganda.
