16 Skateboarders Arrested for Fighting Security Guards Manning in BGC

Police authorities arrested 16 skateboarders for allegedly fighting with the security guards after being reprimanded in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig.

At least 16 skateboarders were arrested in Taguig’s BGC for causing concern and scandal. According to the study, ten of them were juveniles. According to the preliminary investigation, the skateboarders are loud and disorderly.

As a result, BGC security marshals requested assistance from Taguig City Police in apprehending a gang of skateboarders who were congregating in a commercial sector on BGC’s 9th Avenue. The suspects were initially confronted by BGC security, but they allegedly became violent, with one of them even lighting a type of firecracker.

Based on the report, the municipal police said they seized suspected marijuana from one of the youngsters when they were apprehended, disguised in dried “duhat” leaves and a cigarette packet. However, the suspect disputed the allegations.

The arrested persons would face accusations of alarm and scandal, as well as violations of Republic Act No. 9165, often known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. According to the police, this is not the first time the business hub’s security employees have gotten into a heated argument with the skateboarders.
