A ride-hailing app driver has become an internet sensation due to his striking resemblance to BTS member Suga.
A certified Army fan Rodolf Jamilla couldn’t contain his excitement when he rode in a car driven by Jetson Lim, who bore a striking resemblance to Suga. From the hairstyle to the slanted eyes, earrings, and overall demeanor, Lim had an uncanny resemblance to the beloved BTS member.
However, Lim himself was surprised by the attention he received and being compared to Suga. “Nagulat na lang po ako nang may nag-message sa akin na viral na raw po ako. Thank you po! Kahit hindi ko po nakikita sa sarili ko, sobrang salamat po kasi sobrang sarap sa pakiramdam na mapuri ng ganu’n,” said Lim.
Lim has only been driving for the ride-hailing app for two weeks. Prior to becoming a driver, he had a passion for singing and was a member of a band.
Despite the attention he has received, Lim mentioned that he is not available for romantic pursuits. His focus remains on his work as a driver and pursuing his interests outside of his driving duties.
BTS, a South Korean boy band, has amassed a massive following known as the Army, who passionately support and appreciate the group’s music and members. The resemblance between Lim and Suga resonated with fans, leading to the viral sensation.
