Paolo and the other hosts of the revamped midday show have already been punished. They were also advised that they would struggle since the program was too strongly identified with Tito, Vic & Joey, and the actual Dabarkads.

Meanwhile, E.A.T host Tito Sotto expressed his displeasure with TAPE Inc’s plan to commemorate Eat Bulaga’s 44th anniversary. Sotto stated in a text message to the media that TAPE Inc. has no right to celebrate Eat Bulaga’s longevity because the original hosts had already left the show.

“Kami orig na may karapatan mag-celebrate. From TAPE people and current hosts, none of them were there 44 years ago,” said Sotto, based on the article of Abante.

He said that the ‘Legit Dabarkads’ intended to celebrate Eat Bulaga’s 44th anniversary on their show E.A.T. “Ano itatapat nila eh wala naman sila doon in the last 43 years? Feb lang pumasok mga new officers then June ito mga bagitong hosts,” he said.
