President Bongbong Marcos si Trusts Larry Gadon Ability to Ease Poverty

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr trusts Larry Gadon and his ability to ease the poverty in the Philippines.

Despite the numerous challenges plaguing the recently appointed Presidential Adviser on Poverty Alleviation, Marcos Jr maintains his trust and confidence in Gadon. The reiteration came after the Chief Executive formally swore in Gadon late Monday afternoon.

Marcos Trusts Gadon

Marcos said in a brief statement on his official social media channels that selecting Gadon was part of his administration’s ongoing efforts to alleviate poverty and hunger in the country. He also expressed confidence in Gadon’s experience and abilities.

Gadon’s appointment as presidential adviser received criticism from the public following the Supreme Court’s en banc decision last month. Following a viral video in which he is seen throwing expletives at a journalist, the Supreme Court has unanimously disbarred Gadon.

By a unanimous vote of 15-0, determined to remove Gadon from its roster following his viral video in which he repeatedly shouted and made foul remarks about journalist Raissa Robles. In reaction, the embattled Marcos supporter stated that he will file a motion for reconsideration since the verdict was “too harsh.”

Gadon further maintained that his disbarment will have no bearing on his new job with the Marcos government. Gadon also promised to assist alleviate malnutrition among Filipino young with his ‘Batang Busog, Malusog’ or BBM Movement, which will coincide with National Nutrition Month in July.
