Buboy Villar Reveals He Still Commute to Work After Buying Brand New SUV
Comedian and Eat Bulaga host Buboy Villar admitted that he still prefers to commute to work after buying a brand-new SUV.
The actor-comedian and now TV personality recently took to social media to highlight his new life achievement. Buboy showed off his gleaming new SUV, which he had acquired from Toyota. He claimed that through prayer and perseverance, his desire had become a reality.
In an interview, the new Eat Bulaga presenter disclosed that he had purchased an SUV for his children’s mobility. Buboy stated that he was able to accumulate enough money to purchase an automobile.
“Meron akong binili, bago, kotse. Ayun. One month na. May naipundar ako na bago kasi nasira na po kasi yung second-hand ko po na kotse. Ano na talaga, tumitirik na, madaling masira. Bumili lang po ako ng Fortuner para po sa anak ko kasi yung bunso ko kasi, sobrang laki na,” said Buboy.
Some speculated that the car was a present from the Jalosjos family, who own TAPE, Inc., the producer of “Eat Bulaga.” Others speculated that it was Buboy’s talent fee from the show.
He disputed, however, that the money he utilized was his talent fee from hosting Eat Bulaga. He purchased the new vehicle using money he made from his ‘pares’ company, he claims.
“Simula po nung nag-iipon ako sa Paresan ni Bok, pati po sa kita ko rin po sa social media. Doon po nag-umpisa.” he said.
Despite having a personal car, Buboy wants to commute to work in order to save money. Buboy also stated that riding his motorcycle to the Eat Bulaga studio in Cainta, Rizal saved him a lot of time.
“I mean, yung commute ko, angkas-angkas na lang po. Masaya po. Nag-e-enjoy ako sa mga ganon. Nag-e-enjoy ako pag umaangkas ako.” he said.
