PAG-IBIG LOANABLE CASH – Here’s a guide on how much you may borrow under the Multi-Purpose Loan offer of the Fund to eligible members.

If you have posted a total of at least 24 monthly contributions, you might be eligible to apply for the Multi-Purpose Loan or MPL offer of the Pag-IBIG Fund. It is a cash loan offer crafted to help address the short-term financial needs of members.

With regards to the Pag-IBIG loanable cash under the Multi-Purpose Loan (MPL) offer, you can borrow up to an equivalent of 80% of your total posted contributions.

For example, if your total posted contributions is P10,000, your Pag-IBIG loanable cash under the MPL is up to P8,000.00. To apply for the loan offer, you just have to prepare the documents required by the government agency.

If you are the member-borrower who plans to process your own Pag-IBIG MPL application and you are locally employed, here are the documents that you need to prepare:

  • duly-accomplished and signed Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan Application Form
  • photocopy of one (1) valid ID such as the following:
    • passport
    • Driver’s License
    • National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance
    • Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) ID
    • Police Clearance
    • Voter’s ID
    • Postal ID
    • Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) e-Card
    • Senior Citizen Card
    • Barangay Certification or Barangay IDs
    • Social Security System (SSS) Card
    • Overseas Filipino Worker ID
    • Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) ID
    • Alien Certification of Registration/Immigrant Certificate of Registration
    • Certification from the National Council for the Welfare of Disabled Persons (NCWDP)
    • Seaman’s Book or Seafarer’s Identification and Record Book (SIRB)
    • Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Certification
    • Government Office and GOCC ID
    • Integrated Bar of the Philippines ID
    • Company ID
    • Philippine Identification (PhilID) Card
  • Certificate of Net Pay
    • This portion of your MPL Application Form which is found at the back of the form must be accomplished by your employer; or
  • photocopy of one (1) month latest payslip duly authenticated by an authorized signatory of the company

For self-employed applicants, here are the documents needed in applying for the MPL:

  • duly-accomplished and signed Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan Application Form
  • photocopy of one (1) valid ID such as the following:

  • original copy of Commission Vouchers indicating the name and contact details of the issuer
  • original copy of Certified True Copy of Transport Franchise
  • original copy of the Notarized Affidavit of Income
  • original copy of the Certificate of Engagement issued by the business owner

The Pag-IBIG Fund Multi-Purpose Loan offer is also open for OFW members of the government agency. Here are the documents needed in applying for the loan offer:
