Customer Gives Bad Review to The Manila Baker After Stealing 2 Boxes of Cookies

A customer goes viral after giving bad review to The Manila Baker after allegedly stealing 2 boxes of cookies from their unmanned kiosk.

When he gave a terrible review to The Manila Baker (TMB), a client called Cristina went viral on social media and received a variety of comments from the online community. She did this after stealing two boxes of cookies from an unattended booth.

According to the screenshots on Facebook, the client shared her experience at a TMB branch by posting snippets of their conversation with the bakeshop. He does not recommend such a store, according to her review.

Cristina stated that she wanted to purchase cookies from the TMB stall at Podium, but there were no personnel there. She decided to grab the two boxes of cookies after waiting for 15 minutes and still not seeing any employees.

She just messaged the store on Facebook Messenger, informing them that she would pay with GCash. However, the TMB’s admin, who appears to be surprised by what she did, was harsh in their response. TMB’s response to her irritated her.

“I am not expecting gratitude for my voluntary honesty but professional communication is a minimum requirement of any business. Never buying here again,” she said.

TMB stated that their employees went to the bank and used the restroom, but they left a sign stating, “We will be right back.” The owner advised Cristina that the next time she is in a rush and their staff is unavailable, she should message them straight online. If they are not told, their employee will pay the P800 price of cookies.

“If this was a different situation and nobody informed us our staff would have been charged with the P800. I do hope you know where we are coming from and understand why this cannot happen again. Thank you,” said TMB.

Meanwhile, Cristina’s negative assessment of TMB goes viral, drawing condemnation from the internet community. Netizens claimed that Cristina was to blame, not TMB.
