Vice Ganda shared the fondest memories that he had in GMA when he was just starting his career in showbiz
Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda recalled his past Kapuso morning talk show Sis and the times that he would have guest appearances on Sunday musical variety show SOP.
Vice started in comedy bars and eventually, he was able to have his transition to the mainstream media. In the entertainment industry, he first started doing shows on GMA. He was part of the defunct morning talk show of Janice de Belen, Gelli de Belen, and Carmina Villarroel.
In a recent interview on Updated with Nelson Canlas podcast, the It’s Showtime host recalled the time when he was doing shows on GMA before he transferred to ABS-CBN.
Vice Ganda said that he had a lot of fun doing Sis because the three main hosts are “mababait.” He made a lot of friends in this show as well.
However, he said that his favorite was when he would have guestings on SOP and this is becase of Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez. “Pinaka-favorite ko talaga pag naggi-guest ako sa SOP kasi most of the time na nasa SOP ako, si Regine ang kasam ko sa number. Eh, alam mo naman na patron siant ko si Regine,” the Kapamilya star said.
Vice also said that he would perform with Regine’s impersonator Anton Diva during the Songbird’s birthday celebration on SOP. He added that he would always be proud of this and would tell people that he had a number with Regine.
Back then, Vice shared that SOP would always get him as part of the show’s opening number. “Mga panahong nakakapag-falsetto pa ako,” he jokingly added.
