Chie Filomeno is happy to hear that the “TV war is finally over”
Kapamilya actress Chie Filomeno shared that he hopes to work with this Kapuso actress now that collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA has started.
Chie rose to fame through the girl group GirlTrends started on the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime that is now airing on GTV, a free TV channel under Citynet Network Marketing and Productions Inc., owned by GMA Network.
With this collaboration, Atty. Felipe Gozon, Chairman and CEO of GMA Network, said that “TV war is finally over.”
Hearing this statement from the TV executive, Chie Filomeno is anticipating the possibility that she will work with her favorite Kapuso actress, based on the article in PEP.
“Yes, I am, especially nung narinig ko si Atty. Gozon, right? Ang nagsabi na ‘TV war is finally over,’” the Kapamilya actress shared. This gives her goosebumps in a good way because this means that Kapamilya and Kapuso’s talents will be showcased.
With this, she expressed excitement to work with Kapuso stars. When asked who she wants to work with, the Kapamilya actress excitedly mentioned Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera.
“Miss Marian Rivera! Yes, definitely! Kasi si Gabbi [Garcia], friend ko na rin siya. So, yun, nakuha ko na si Gabbi! So, si Miss Marian, naman,” Chie Filomeno said. The Kapamilya actress also mentioned the qualities of the Kapuso actress that she really likes.
Chie cited that she loves Marian’s beauty and personality. “Totoong tao siya. And, yun yung kailangan natin sa industry,” she added. She also said that she aspires to become like Marian. Chie mentioned that even It’s Showtime host Anne Curtis wants to have a project with the Kapuso Primetime Queen.
