One of the alleged reasons behind the drug issue against Billy Crawford is his current weight. He stressed that he wants to answer the issue because there were a lot of other people who have defended him already.

Actually simula nung nag-Dancing with the Stars… alam mo paulit-ulit akong nagpagpapaliwanag kasi sobrang dami nang nagsasalita on my behalf. Dami-daming nagsasabing addict or whatever. Una sa lahat I think it’s unfair para sabihin sa isang tao kung sino sila. Una sa lahat, I don’t do drugs,” he stressed.

Billy also pointed out that he stopped drinking alcohol for six years now. He shared that he reached 235 pounds because he was an alcoholic before. The singer-dancer stressed that it was not healthy and so he started to lose weight and this continued as he never returned to drinking.

He also said that he is not smoking anymore and so, he has no vices. “So ngayon na I am 41 years old and 140 pounds, I’m healthy. I feel good. I don’t necessarily exercise tremendously pero kumakain ako ng tama, umiinom ako ng tubig and siguro mabigat lang talaga ‘yung anak ko (Amari),” he said.

Billy Crawford also shared that taking care of his son with Coleen Garcia is really tiring and they would take turns in doing this. However, he stressed that he is not sick.

When asked if he is bothered by this issue, Billy said that he is not and added, “Kung adik ako sa totoo lang ‘di dapat nasa kulungan ako o patay na ako, honestly.” He also stressed that he never tried any prohibited drugs. “No, never. Zero percent never,” the singer-dancer said.
