Isabelle Daza had this reason for turning down an offer to host Eat Bulaga
Actress-host Isabelle Daza had her stint in the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga years ago but when she was offered to host the new version of the Kapuso noontime show, she declined.
Isabelle was a Dabarkad and she was warmly welcomed by the pioneer hosts when she became part of EB. After her stint in the Kapuso noontime show, Isabelle did several acting projects.
Eventually, she became part of the defunct Kapatid noontime show Tropang LOL with Alex Gonzaga, Billy Crawford, Bayani Agbayani, and more.
When Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and the legit Dabarkads announced their decision to cut ties with TAPE Inc., Isabelle Daza was one of the former hosts who showed support for her former co-hosts.
In an article by entertainment writer Salve Asis in Pang-Masa, it was said that the daughter of veteran actress Gloria Diaz was also offered to host the new Eat Bulaga together with Paolo Contis, Isko Moreno, Betong Sumaya, Buboy Villar, the Legaspi twins, and many more.
However, it was said that Isabelle refused to accept the offer even though she was offered a huge amount as her talent fee.
Asis said that Isabelle was not the first to be offered by TAPE Inc but refused because of the fear that they might get bashed.
Previously, reports surfaced that former EB hosts Pia Guanio and Sam YG were also offered to go back to the Kapuso show. However, the reason that was cited for their refusal to accept this offer was their current shows.
Legit Dabarkads Allan K also revealed that he was offered to remain in the Kapuso show together with Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola. However, they also refused the offer because their loyalty is to TVJ.
