Awra Briguela received support from friends and netizens
Kapamilya star Awra Briguela faces charges after the brawl in Makati City and she is receiving support on social media as #JusticForAwra trends.
It is a new thing that celebrities would trend on social media because of controversies and scandals. Just recently, Awra became a trending topic online because of the fight that happened in Poblacion in Makati.
The celebrity was arrested and it can be seen in viral videos that she was handcuffed. She is accused of starting trouble against the group of complainant Mark Christian Ravana. Awra is still in detention and faces physical injuries, alarm and scandal, disobedience to authority, and direct assault.
Amid this issue, Awra Briguela received support from her friends. A netizen shared this statement from content creator Zayla Nakajima who narrated what happened that night. at a club in Makati.
On Twitter, actress Riva Queenery also defended Awra. Riva stressed that Awra was just trying to defend her friend from impending harassment. The actress also used the hashtag “Justice For Awra.”
Many netizens also defended Awra on Twitter using the aforementioned hashtag. There were netizens who condemned the police officers who arrested the Kapamilya star with too much use of force that for them was already excessive.
Some netizens also pointed out that the authorities should look closely because they allegedly accused Awra so easily without condemning the alleged true oppressor. Here are some tweets showing support for the Kapamilya star.
